Mediartrix and Artistang Artlets joined forces for "disKURSO#7"

"disKURSO# 7," a seminar organized by Mediartrix, a university-wide multi-media organization of and for art enthusiasts of the University of Santo Tomas, with the helping hand of the Artistang Artlets and CASA was held at the Tan Yan Kee Student Center auditorium last July 13. 

The four-hour seminar featured talks from Mr. Thomas Daquioag and Ms. Mannet Villariba, both Thomasian alumni from the College of Fine Arts and Design and Faculty of Arts and Letters, respectively. One of their objectives was to prove that art should not be seen as contained in a box, instead they wanted to emphasize that there is more to be taken from art.  The main goal of the seminar was to bring performance arts to students that will lead to a better understanding and appreciation through experience.

There were also performances made by TAMA Core to give the seminar more liveliness and to rise the artistic atmosphere within.

The said seminar was attended by Artistang Artlets apprentices, a class from Journalism and Political Science and two sections from fourth year Communication Arts students.
