SOCC Headstarts with Recruitment 101

The Student Organizations Coordinating Council (SOCC) conducted the annual fair, Recruitment 101, in which different university wide organizations are promoted. To start off the event, different organizations attracted the students with a parade within the university as their opening ceremony, held last July four. The event was held at the UST Plaza Mayor, from July four to eight. In cooperation with Sun Cellular, Krispy Kreme, Happy Fanshu, Creamline, Unilever and Automasino, Recruitment 101 became a success.

Thirty-eight university wide organizations participated for this year’s Recruitment 101. Some of which are as follows; UST Mountaineering Club, Musikang Sikat ng mga Tomasino (MUSIKAT), UST Yellow Jackets, Community Achievers Association (COMACH), MEDIARTRIX, Red Cross Youth Council, UST Pax Romana Central Coordinating Council, Tomasian Cable Television (TOMCAT), The Varsitarian, SOCC, OSA (Office for Student Affairs), CFC - Youth for Christ, UST Scarlet - Filipino Chinese Students Organization, Earth - UST, UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, and Teatro Tomasino.

Recruitment 101 ended with a culminating activity and an oath taking last Friday, July eight at four in the afternoon at the Plaza Mayor.
