A New Leaf

Another page of the story has ended. Time flew fast last year. We may not notice, but every minute that passes by screams “the end is near…” maybe not of our lives but of the bonds we can share together. Time slowly turns the laughter into memories, those that are worth remembering and can be kept forever. They say, “No goodbyes, just see you around…” though, would this statement keep you away from the loneliness you are subject to feel during the time you are apart from each other? Would it suffice the everyday need of a company allegiant enough to listen to your everyday cries? I think not. Everything fades away like fog under a rising sun. We may not believe, but it is true enough that nothing is meant to last. Departing from those whom you spent almost your entire lifetime is difficult. A lot of words may sound great but may not seem like one. The word vacation, it is a partial rival. This simply tells us that we are slowly getting closer to the feared moment of leaving past and again destined to paint on a new canvass. Death is not our enemy, time is. It is slowly stealing away precious moments meant to be spent with those we appreciate the most. Therefore we must remember, employ your time wisely while you still can. Don’t count every minute in a day, make every minute in a day count and make sure to make the last, last. Live life, make a change, turn-over a new leaf.
