Giving highlight to its guilds, the Communication Arts Student’s Association set up camp during the Faculty of Arts and Letter’s annual org fair aptly named “CYBORG” or “Choose Your Best ORG.”
From July eleven to fourteen, AB’s Student Council transformed the Plaza Mayor into a mini-trade fair where all the college-wide organizations were showcased for every Artlet to see and join. Decorated simply with only the society’s official color of red, the CASA booth offered its nine guilds.
“All our planned projects and programs for this academic year are aimed towards bringing out the best in every member of our family, through the support of all nine guilds.” Said Connie Reyes, CASA’s current Public Relation Officer, when asked about how the Executive Board prepared for the event, “As we all know, our guilds highlight the potential of CASAns in various ‘subject’ in our field and show how versatile we are.”
Meanwhile, Ace Quebal and Mark Quitoy, AB SC’s PRO and Treasurer respectively, further expounded why CYBORG was named as such to the event, it was because of the recently concluded quadricentennial celebrations that the SC got the idea of CYBORG. In a way, they said, it was the SC’s idea of ushering in the Faculty into a new generation.
